August 23, 2005 [New York, NY] –Maria Sharapova, launched her new TAG Heuer “Formula 1 Diamond” watch today at Fortunoff in Manhattan. Sharapova met fans and signed autographs while wearing her new watch, which she helped to design. The timepiece is the latest addition to the TAG Heuer Formula 1 line and is adorned with 120 diamonds on a unique flower-petal fixed bezel.  As with all TAG Heuer Formula 1 watches, TAG Heuer Formula 1 Diamonds is a hip and ultra-casual sports watch incorporating the classic TAG Heuer features: stainless steel case, water resistant to 200 meters; scratch resistant sapphire crystal and screw-fitted case back; screw-in crown; and luminescent hour and minute hands.
