Dubai, February 5th 2006 – TAG Heuer Ambassador Tiger Woods defeated Ernie Els in a thrilling sudden-death playoff to win the Dubai Desert Classic at the Emirates Golf Club on February 5th, 2006.
The victory was the second in a row for the world number one golfer, who walked away with the season opener at La Jolla the week before.
